How much fabric do I need

Typical fabric requirements (guide):

• Dress – 2 to 3 metres
• Skirt – 1.5 to 2 metres
• Shirt / blouse – 1 to 1.5 metres
• Trousers – 2 to 2.5 metres
• Children’s outfit – 1 to 2 metres
• Cushion covers – about 0.5 metre
• Quilting / crafts – 0.5 to 1 metre

Tip: Always allow extra for pattern matching, shrinkage and mistakes.

Our Teal Scuba Fabric is a smooth, medium to heavyweight stretch knit with a rich blue-green tone and a structured yet comfortable feel. At 282gsm and 150cm wide, it has enough body for statement garments while still offering flexibility and movement.
