How much fabric do I need
Typical fabric requirements (guide):
• Dress – 2 to 3 metres
• Skirt – 1.5 to 2 metres
• Shirt / blouse – 1 to 1.5 metres
• Trousers – 2 to 2.5 metres
• Children’s outfit – 1 to 2 metres
• Cushion covers – about 0.5 metre
• Quilting / crafts – 0.5 to 1 metre
Tip: Always allow extra for pattern matching, shrinkage and mistakes.
A sunshine 100% cotton fabric with a smooth, soft handle and a practical 150gsm weight. This woven cotton is easy to sew, easy to press and suitable for a wide range of dressmaking, quilting and craft projects.
At 135cm wide, it is ideal for shirts, dresses, skirts, quilting, patchwork, bunting, craft projects and light home décor. The warm sunshine shade gives a bright, cheerful finish without feeling too harsh — perfect for makes that need a little happy lift.
