How much fabric do I need

Typical fabric requirements (guide):

• Dress – 2 to 3 metres
• Skirt – 1.5 to 2 metres
• Shirt / blouse – 1 to 1.5 metres
• Trousers – 2 to 2.5 metres
• Children’s outfit – 1 to 2 metres
• Cushion covers – about 0.5 metre
• Quilting / crafts – 0.5 to 1 metre

Tip: Always allow extra for pattern matching, shrinkage and mistakes.

How to Apply

  • Cut interfacing to the required shape
  • Place glue side (rough side) to the wrong side of your fabric
  • Use a pressing cloth and press firmly (do not slide the iron)
  • Let it cool completely before moving to set the bond
