How much fabric do I need

Typical fabric requirements (guide):

• Dress – 2 to 3 metres
• Skirt – 1.5 to 2 metres
• Shirt / blouse – 1 to 1.5 metres
• Trousers – 2 to 2.5 metres
• Children’s outfit – 1 to 2 metres
• Cushion covers – about 0.5 metre
• Quilting / crafts – 0.5 to 1 metre

Tip: Always allow extra for pattern matching, shrinkage and mistakes.

A lightweight green carnival tinsel fabric made from 100% polyester. This fabric has a smooth, decorative finish with a light 92gsm weight, making it useful for costumes, carnival outfits, stagewear, crafts and event décor.

At 147cm wide, it is ideal for fancy dress, dancewear, performance costumes, party decorations, displays, craft projects and decorative sewing. The green colour gives a bold, playful finish for projects that need movement, shine and a proper pop of colour.

Sold by the half metre. Multiple quantities will be cut as one continuous length where possible.
